Then I recommend the game “Dungeon Pets,” which was created by the same people who created “Dungeon Lords.”

Dungeon Pets is a little simpler, and could probably be managed by a child, however, don’t be fooled by the adorable ‘snakitty’ or ‘stegabully,’ it isn’t exactly the simplest game, either.  Personally, I love the game, but I’ve never won, either.  The importance of choosing the right actions each turn and taking the appropriate chances with your decisions makes this a great competitive but not combative game.  It is a little on the long side- a two player game can easily go to an hour and a half or even two hours, while a four person game is a good deal longer.
